A horror of Tunisian origin, you don't see that very often. Not that that seems to have influenced the film very much, because although the film is set there and the film is in Arabic, the story and plot could just as well come from anywhere. The basic story is therefore very well known: a small group of outsiders (three journalism students in this case) end up in a remote community, and they do strange things. In this case: it's a cannibalistic cult.

It's especially very slow, with attempts at atmosphere building that didn't quite work for me. In terms of cinematography, it's pretty okay, and towards the end there are also a few nice bits of gore and misery when some of the students are taken down, but the film still didn't really pull me in. It's a shame, because I had higher expectations for this in advance.
