Losing Alaska plot

An urgent story that depicts in a tangible way the harrowing consequences of climate change. The Alaskan village of Newtok is slowly disappearing into the sea due to rising ambient temperatures. The 375 inhabitants of this beautiful, vast, permafrost area have lived for years with the constant fear of one day literally going under. We see how the Yup'ik support themselves with fishing and hunting in the traditional way.
