I can't remember ever seeing such a bad movie as this in my life. There is literally no story to be found in this crap. At first I thought; okay, nice atmosphere, a bit of Looney Guys all, but soon the movie completely changes into something that can't even be called a movie. There is literally no explanation in this movie why the murders on the farm happen. Even worse is the acting of that woman. Nowhere do you get the idea that she really panics about the situation that occurs and besides that the masks of the psychopaths are literally stolen from the movie You're Next. The movie lasts 80 minutes but seems to last hours, after fifteen minutes I started checking the time again to see how far I was and that continued throughout the entire movie. I advise you to only go see this if you get paid a lot for it. Really a horrible waste of my Saturday night, really big crisis.

This film has an interesting plot with good horror ingredients, but the execution is downright crap.

Actually, I got this feeling already in the first minute of the film; you really spend way too long looking at a fragment of a building, where absolutely nothing happens(apparently the director wanted to illustrate the remote creepy setting with this, but it could have been at least 75% shorter).

Further on in the film, the unnecessary long-windedness repeats itself several times. You keep thinking "Okay, I get it. On to the next fragment". This long-windedness starts to irritate quite quickly and is also completely useless. For example, characters come walking and are then followed by the camera for ages from point A to B. It's as if you're watching a real-time full footage of the evening four-day march; you just don't want that as a viewer, they just want a good summary of the highlights.

On the rare occasions when the film does flow nicely, the atmosphere and acting are still quite nice and as a horror fan you are treated to a few juicy gore. However, that is simply not enough to save this annoyingly long-winded film from its substandardness.

The film cover betrays the final moment of this film. As a horror fan, I would have liked to see this morbid table scene explored a bit further, but alas; it doesn't get any further than a disappointing still picture of this morbid fragment. What a missed opportunity......

1.5 stars for the rare moments that were okay.

Oh, how seriously this movie takes itself.

The ominous soundtrack comes right out of the starting blocks and actually continues incessantly. Okay, visually there are also hints at some creepiness or strange characters, but a car ride is also provided with screeching strings. Artificial varnish, which devalues the later moments that are supposed to bring it.

Trapped in guinea pig cages and chicken wire, a couple must escape the meat grinder run by a dozen weirdos in animal masks.

Will it work? Or not? That's usually the question, but the answer will quickly become of no concern to you (no pun intended; they specialize in burgers), because it's not really presented in an interesting way.

The perspective shifts several times from victims (who we barely know) to perpetrators (in meaningless scenes), the soundtrack wants to make everything exciting and so nothing is and the escape is so tactless that you actually don't want them to have it either. Off-screen 'accidentally' getting into a kind of trap, when you zoom out it turns out to be a real whopper. Then you deserve to be chopped to pieces (pun intended).

I'm getting a little sick of it, but this film really lacks self-deprecation, which makes it quickly ridiculous. And that while it hardly has anything to offer on the serious side. I remember two creepy moments that, together with a re-a-ble cinematography, keep it from the lowest score. Quickly forget this. 1.5*
