Kabul, City in the Wind plot

Intrepid and always on the lookout for passengers, Abas steers his rickety bus through the chaos of regularly attacked Kabul. Further on in the same drab city, shrouded in a permanent cloud of dust, the young teenager Afshin and his little brother Benjamin are taken by their father, an ex-serviceman, to a memorial with portraits of bomb victims. When his father leaves for Iran for security reasons, Afshin is suddenly the head of the family.
