Kenji is an assistant director in the 1960s who dreams of making his own film. Currently, he is only allowed to do small jobs on set. His only outlet and secret pleasure is watching an old romantic movie in the cinema, an old black and white movie. It only ran for a short period of time before it was taken out of circulation. Kenji is particularly obsessed with the main character, a beautiful princess. But then everything changes when she suddenly steps out of the picture into the real world.
