Sinterklaas en de Wakkere Nachten plot
When Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet walk on the roofs at night, they are startled by strange nighttime noise: from bells ringing to popping balloons and even a drum set. The whole city is awake night after night and the residents are angry with the Saint, because they think he is causing the noise. Coincidentally, the shrewd businesswoman Frutselia runs a shop with special sleeping aids, which has been running very well since the noise at night. Sinterklaas is very sad that people are angry with him. There is only one thing to do: the Saint must prove his innocence.
