Will Tura, Hoop Doet Leven plot

Jean Kluger, who was Will's producer and publisher for 50 years, has asked director Dominique Deruddere to film his vision of the artist. 'The Emperor of the Flemish Song' is very fond of his privacy, but in this film a picture of the artist's personal side is sketched for the first time on the basis of private photo and film material. This documentary tells the story of Will Tura's rich life and is told off screen by Jan Decleir who “plays” Will Tura. No sex and drugs, just rock and roll: thousands of studio hours, travelling, jogging, composing, television recordings, radio programs… all this to the delight of his fans.
