Niklas och Figuren plot

Nine-year-old Niklas lives with his parents and grandfather in a yellow house. He wants a dog and his parents tell him that if he finds one, he can keep it. His grandfather tells him that the animal shelter is missing a dog, so Niklas goes looking for it. In the forest he encounters Figur, a troll in human form.
