Living the Light - Robby Müller plot

Robby Müller: DoP (director of photography). None of his films resemble the previous ones and he set the bar in his trade like no other. How is it possible that his work is nevertheless always recognizable as a real Müller? In 2016 Robby Müller was honored with the Master of Light exhibition at the EYE Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. In it, his personal archive consisting of hundreds of Polaroids, photos and video diaries was made available on a large scale for the first time, which was shown in Berlin the following year. This archive also forms the basis of this film by Claire Pijman about Robby's gaze, work and life, for which Jim Jarmusch provided the music.
