Sprekend Nederland plot

In this documentary, John Appel shows the current zeitgeist of the Netherlands by means of various speeches. “Sprekend Nederland” shows a kaleidoscope of speeches: from popular pub to Royal Palace, from parties to protest demonstrations and chants. The viewer sees what an integration student, a populist and a king have in common. Each one speaks out. Sometimes almost unintelligible, sometimes shouting out loud. The film also shows how the Dutch differ from each other and how their empowerment brings them back together.
