Liberté, la Nuit plot

In Paris, during the Algerian War, Jean, a sympathizer of the FLN (Front de Libération Nationale), witnesses the murder of Mouche, his estranged wife. She is killed by members of the OAS ('Organization of the Secret Army'). After a period of deep despair, he meets Gemina, a young French-Algerian colonial. Together they discover true happiness, until Jean also falls victim to the OAS.
