Yom el-Din plot
Beshay is a leper. He lives in a leper colony and lives there with his donkey Harby. He makes a living by selling garbage. Though abandoned by his father as a child, he has had a better life than many, but when his mentally ill wife Ireny dies, he decides to visit his family in Qena, a little north of Luxor. Together with his young friend who is an orphan, he embarks on the journey.
