"One mile from home. Six feet underground."
14-year-old Elizabeth is on her way home. Suddenly, she is stopped by a man dressed as a deputy sheriff and is handcuffed by him. The man takes her into the forest and forces her to enter an underground bunker. The man's name is Vinson Filyaw and he is not a deputy sheriff at all, but a fugitive sex offender. He holds Elizabeth in the bunker for a while and rapes her. Meanwhile, hundreds of volunteers go in search of the girl. Based on a true story.

After his Girl in the Box from 2016, director Stephen Kemp now comes with this film about the kidnapping of a high school girl. He holds her captive in a hiding place underground. The film is based on true events, but a search on Google shows that the filmmaker takes quite a few liberties with the facts.
Apart from that, it is, like Kemp's previous film, all a bit tame with a lot of attention for the search by the police and volunteers. It is strange that during those searches they did not come across the car that was used to supply the kidnapper and his young victim. The film lacks the real venom that you would expect with such a plot.

Saw this movie on play crime, and then you know. Those are always weak b-movies, just like this one by the way. Supposedly based on a true story, but then completely polished, so forget it.
