The Ardennes, Christmas 1944. Lieutenant Gene Cappa's platoon is sent to a quiet part of the front line. No problems are expected, military intelligence reports that the German army only has a few children and the elderly in the area. But when Cappa and his men arrive, nothing can be further from the truth. Heavily armed SS troops carry out attacks all over the area. It turns out to be the run-up to the Ardennes Offensive, a gigantic German operation in which 200,000 troops are deployed, massively supported by tanks and heavy artillery…
