Shanda's River plot
Scientist Emma arrives in Voghera, a town in northern Italy, to investigate the story of the witch Shanda. She was murdered near the city, in the early 1800s, on the bank of the river. Emma comes under the spell of a magical curse that forces her to relive the same day over and over again. Every time she is killed, her day starts over. Emma must try to get rid of this curse and break the time loop.
