Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana o Kazarô plot
Maquia, like the community she lives in, stops aging from puberty allowing her to live to be hundreds of years old. Despite being a warm environment on a remote island, Maquia feels lonely. Their isolation and tranquility are brutally disturbed by the presence of people who want to get hold of the secret behind their long lives. Maquia manages to stay out of their hands, but gets lost in the forest and finds a newborn baby. She decides to raise him as her own son and gives him the name Erial.
