Picnic at Hanging Rock plot

The year is 1900. On Valentine's Day, some students and a teacher from Appleyard College disappear during a field trip to Hanging Rock near Victoria's Mount Macedon. The series tells of the events leading up to this day and the disappearances. Various perspectives are followed in this regard. It soon becomes clear that the school staff as well as the chattering residents have their secrets.
