We haven't seen Joseph Gordon-Levitt in movies for a few years; he carefully returns with this unremarkable but reasonably exciting thriller. The most striking aspect of this film about a hijacked plane is that the story takes place almost entirely in the cockpit. That suggests a tour-de-force role from Gordon-Levitt, but he actually plays quite subdued and timid all the time. Fortunately, the one-sided place of action does not result in a boring film; the tension is cleverly maintained and visually it is all expertly put together. However, it does not want to be really special, so that the film is a bit disappointing in the end.

Nice thriller. The story is limited and so is the space in which it takes place. Yet Vollrath manages to make it a fascinating whole. From the start, the film knows how to captivate and never gets boring. There are quite a few tense moments in it. Gordon-Levitt certainly contributes to the level of the film by playing a strong role. With a limited budget, a strong film nonetheless. 3.5

Good film about a passenger flight from Berlin to Paris that is hijacked by terrorists. The plot isn't much, but the execution works fine here. The film takes place entirely in the cockpit. This keeps you guessing what is going on in and around the plane and the tension is well maintained throughout the playing time.
