Emma's estranged husband dies an untimely death. As a result, Emma suddenly gets custody of Isla, her daughter. Emma hasn't seen Isla for years and hopes to bond with her. Together with Isla she moves to another house. However, mother and daughter have to deal with an evil entity.

A slow-paced thriller with excellent acting by lead actress Katia Winter, who draws much from her character. This proves necessary, as director Eduardo Rodriguez directs an otherwise detached film lacking memorable moments. A lack of suspense and poorly developed atmosphere are mainly to blame, but the characters besides Winter fail to create a compelling narrative. It all fizzles out, but the fact that the filmmakers try to add a few plot twists reveals a certain passion for maximizing the potential.
