It was easy to watch, but I thought it was a poor film. Ultimately, this film doesn't say much and the plot and the influence of technology are not very special, at least, this is what has been happening on a small scale for years. Visually nothing special, the acting is okay but not great and I think the ending is very lame. 2.5*.

Nice nice nice.

It's been a while since I picked up something from BM. I don't think I saw a single new episode this year. Until now then. And then I remember how much I liked Black Mirror. In any case, this episode brings me back into the BM atmosphere.

There probably couldn't have been a better choice than Lawther. It only now strikes me that he is really good as an actor. Typical appearance for a creep and a loser. He also knows how to combine the two seamlessly, and then you actually get this. And it works well with that too.

For the rest, a typical episode that you would expect from BM. Raw, depressed. Always a nice idea associated with it. The film also has a nice idea here and this idea certainly manages to keep the momentum going. A bit cheap sometimes, but it works.

Nice concept, getting stronger towards the end as expected. Final scenes are also typical Black Mirror. Nice and in-your-face. The reason why I love this series so much. However, see that the averages start to drop in season 4. Oh yeah.

Strong episode, which is perhaps a bit ironic, because it does not have the well-known BM common thread in the form of a dystopian tech setting. After all, what we are seeing could already be happening right now. Or better yet: already happening. Who knows, maybe that makes it all the more oppressive. Although, it doesn't really get oppressive, because the effect is relatively linear. Acting fine. Towards the end they may go a step too far with the life-and-death assignment, but we will classify that as the BM enlargement. The ending is again wonderfully gloomy, something I really appreciate in the BM series. The fact that it is accompanied by Radiohead's Exit Music makes it complete. We'll just take the plot hole that in such a video and it doesn't show what he's watching and therefore no mention of 'children',.
