In a shabby Louisville neighborhood, Angie struggles to get through her days with a job at a convenience store (which she's in danger of losing) while caring for her three-year-old son and her alcoholic mother. When they are evicted from their home, Angie has to rush to find a new home and the money to afford it. Meanwhile, she still has to deal with a man from her past.
