A group of rebellious 17-year-olds meet on the edge of a Belgian-Dutch border village. Simon, the shy intellectual, is deeply in love with Femke. Ruth, who follows them closely, is secretly in love with Simon. The wildly charismatic Thomas, an unscrupulous businessman in the making, decides to start a kitsch sex site for which they shoot porn scenes. Ruth is the first to have paid sex when the group turns to prostitution. But when Femke is involved in an accident, the atmosphere within the group suddenly changes...

What exactly is this? A group of young people who, out of boredom, behave rowdy in some Belgian hole on the Dutch border. A bunch of dopey boxes and really annoying guys if you ask me. They let them do some shocking things and that is always accepted by the audience. Shock for the sake of shocking. Punching a pregnant girl in the stomach to induce an abortion, tying a dog to a train track, stabbing objects in each other's ass... But in an explicit sex scene, a condom is dutifully used.
No, didn't bother me at all. Badly copied from Bret Easton Ellis.

What a crappy movie with an incredible story and mediocre acting. Eight teenagers aged 16/17 (played by actors aged 20-24 because of the nude scenes) do naughty things with a moral sense of the group of 6-year-olds such as playing hooker and pimp.
No character is likeable. One more star because I lasted one hour, then flushed to Femke's death and that was just as bizarre as this whole movie. Waist of time.

Pretentious film about a bunch of unscrupulous teenagers, who experience a summer full of rottenness from a 'we-feeling'.
You see the story (the summer) told by four young people. It looks like it's being told in a lawsuit or lawsuits following the death of one of them and what they've been up to that summer. It's all very messy and messed up.
The scriptwriter/director will have a deeper meaning for the chosen route. Some scenes may have to shock, like the explicit sex scenes. But it adds nothing. It is clear that these teenagers are off the path.
The reddish cast suggests that the film is set in the 1980s, but that turns out not to be the case.
Another example of misplaced pretense.
You don't get any connection with any character. I find them superficial.
The actors try their best, but they can't convince me. They must represent 17 year olds. But they seem a bit too old for that. A miss. It seems that Tijmen Govearts is the only one who has played in other productions. I did better than the rest. What a dreamy type who still has some morals.
A film that never stops. Experiment by a director who would like to make a hit. Failed.
