Krev Zmizelého plot
Helga is a nurse of Sudeten German origin, who works in the hospital of doctor Blau during the war. When the Baltic aristocrat Arno van Lieven is hospitalized with serious injuries, Helga takes care of him personally. As if by miracle Arno recovers. He and Helga develop an intimate relationship. Before Arno can be sent back to the front, he commits suicide. Helga turns out to be expecting his child. Years later, while the communists are now in power in Czechoslovakia, her daughter Dorli goes in search of her roots…
