Waiting for the Sun plot

There are more people on death row in China than anywhere else in the world. The children of the convicts are usually left to their own devices. They are stigmatized and live on the streets, and if they're lucky, they end up with Ms. Zhang, an elderly former prison guard who for the past 25 years has run the Sun Village orphanage for children of parents who have been convicted or those who have been executed.
