Chongtian Huo plot
Head of Security Tinbo works in a skyscraper of Sky Clinic, a giant pharmaceutical company specializing in cancer drugs. When a shipment of new drugs is stolen by a group of criminals posing as police officers, Tinbo sets out to find the culprits. His ruthless boss Tang, however, thinks that Tinbo is not doing enough and calls in another team of specialists who use gory methods. Ultimately, he has no choice but to independently find the thieves, bring back the groundbreaking drugs and stop the violent unit that often puts innocent bystanders in danger. In addition, Tinbo has to deal with a desperate man who wants to save his sick sister.

Moderate Lamb.
Now, Lam is, by default, rather mediocre. A director who always manages to add something extra to the action, but leaves something to be desired in the areas of action and visual flair. After all these years, little has changed in that regard.
On top of that, Lam has aged a year, and that's clearly reflected in the film. It still feels a bit like an 80s/90s Hollywood action film, with a touch of paint here and there. Unfortunately, that also includes some shoddy CG.
Oh well, the acting is decent, and the drama is better than you usually get in a film like this. Those aren't the most important points for me, unfortunately, but overall it's a decent film. One without many highlights and perhaps with a limited shelf life, but still doable for once.

Mediocre action film. The story is a mix of some drama and a lot of action. The execution is disappointing. The pace is fast, but despite the drama, they don't really manage to inject any soul into it. It's not really moving or engaging for the viewer. The action scenes aren't particularly impressive either. It all looks decent, but it's simply bland. 2.5
