Fanget i de Fries Land plot

Life is tough for most residents of the South Los Angeles neighborhood. Shootings and drug crimes are the order of the day and it is difficult to escape the vicious circle of poverty and crime. Here, this documentary follows three ex-cons and their loved ones in the first two years after their release. Brian, 42, is released after 24 years in prison. He is determined to stay on the right path and in good spirits looks for work and new contacts. Juan is 18. He too is at the beginning of a new life when, after his parole, he moves in with his girlfriend and their newborn daughter.
