Salyut-7 plot
It is 1985. The unmanned Soviet space station Salyut-7 orbits the Earth and suddenly stops responding to orders from the Earth Control Center. If the space station, the pride of Soviet space travel, crashes it will not only damage the image of the country, it will also be a disaster with many casualties.
