'El Crazy Che' is a documentary about the most astonishing case of industrial espionage: the incredible true story of an Argentine engineer who became a spy during the cold war. While working for AMD and Intel in the United States, Gaede provided technical information about the semiconductor industry to the Soviet Union, through the Cuban government. Later disappointed by the communist revolution, Gaede surrendered to the CIA and FBI and began working for a counter-espionage operation, which led to unforeseen consequences for him.
