Geschenk uit de Bodem plot

The distant ancestors of the Groningen people once refused to submit to the Romans. Many centuries later, the people were nevertheless incorporated and the discovery of natural gas heralded far-reaching changes. A few eccentrics expressed their reservations, but the Netherlands proceeded energetically with the construction of the gas network. Our country is now regarded as one of the richest countries in Europe and construction workers in Groningen who renovate or demolish houses receive a course in dealing with emotions. How do we deal with the consequences of gas extraction that hardly anyone could predict?
