Belgian fashion designer Margiela starts in 1988, together with Jenny Meirens, Maison Martin Margiela. In We Margiela, Meirens and members of the creative team talk openly about the creative processes, the approach and the special philosophy of the house. In-depth interviews and unique archive material provide a fascinating picture of the origin and eventual sale of this closed and mysterious house. Despite the fact that the designer and the team worked in complete anonymity, the Maison Martin Margiela fashion house managed to grow into one of the most famous, radical and influential fashion houses of the twentieth century.
