Vergeef Me Mijn Schulden plot

Several people with high debts - often tens of thousands and in some cases even millions of euros - appear before the court in The Hague. They hope to be admitted to debt restructuring, so that they can make a new start after three years debt-free. The judges listen to their stories and decide their fate by constantly making a difficult decision: have they made their debts 'in good faith' and are they entitled to a clean slate? Or will they remain in the red for the rest of their lives?
