"WHEN TRAGEDY BECOMES MEMORY, GRIEF BECOMES STRENGTH"

In this documentary, seven siblings search home videos and diaries for clues to the traumatic death of their father, who committed suicide. 'Kingdom of Us' shows how the traumatic event marks the family. And how they deal with the grief, their identity and family ties after this event. Their father's suicide also left them financially ruined. The family reminisces on the basis of archive footage. As they go about their emotional recovery, they address their fears and plans for the future.
