The story – or wouldn't the word "adventure" be more fitting – of four women who, during their journey, are constantly confronted with corruption, extortion, theft, abuse of power and violence.
They themselves are not always entirely pure, but their stories make it clear that life is not easy, that they often have to act out of necessity or that they were simply tricked.
Sometimes funny, sometimes deadly serious, but all in all, I watched with fascination. How unusual, and that's okay.

Road movie in which four women meet on the buses and travel together on the way to Lagos.
We see what it's like to travel through Africa: corrupt customs, roadblocks, fatal accidents, robbers... it's not a rosy picture, and it's all very chaotic. The women themselves haven't been spared from personal suffering, and we learn from their stories. The film sometimes feels like a documentary filmed over seven days. The acting is obviously not professional, but the actors and actresses put a lot of good will and effort into it, and that means a lot to me. Certainly not a bad piece of African cinema.
