Haunted house horror with such a predictable progression that you don't even need subtitles to follow the story. The only difference may be that the history of such a haunted mansion is always a little different, but those are not the aspects that Haunted Mansion can benefit from. The poor acting in particular is an absolute killer, although the cast members can only partly be blamed for it. The dialogues and the characters they are saddled with make no sense and make the film feel childish instead of adult. The horror elements are also not very impressive, with only some nice effects in between and a fairly large-scale approach to make you happy. The camera technique is above average, as director Jun Lana always knows how to find the right points of view and moves energetically with the scenes. Ultimately, the film lasts far too long for the thin content and many twists make absolutely no sense, which to make matters worse are absolutely not conveyed by the actors and actresses. An end result to quickly forget.
