S.W.A.T.: Under Siege plot
In a shootout between the DEA, SWAT and a cartel, SWAT agent Travis Hall arrests a mysterious man. Not much later, SWAT headquarters is besieged by multiple attacks in an attempt to free the prisoner known as "The Scorpion" from the tattoo on his back. When Travis learns that his prisoner is an undercover cop who was placed in the cartel, he and his SWAT colleagues must secure "The Scorpion" and his billion-dollar secret.

Travis Hall [Sam Jaeger] discovering a man [Michael Jai White] who was tortured in a shipping container. Who is this man, why was he tortured, who are those responsible and where have they gone? The title already reveals that it ends in a battle. Reasonably acted action thriller with a dime a dozen scenario and fight scenes that regularly look more like a demonstration than a fight, is typically one to doze off on a drizzly after-evening.

Not a very exciting third chapter of this action series, with a concept that takes far too long to finally get going. The acting is not very strong to begin with and the content is remarkably simplistic compared to Firefight, which did try to create a certain common thread. Under Siege is more or less a collection of uninteresting characters who are trampled by a team of trained soldiers in a police station. Although the fights and action moments are numerous, director Tony Giglio is partly not convincing because of that. Despite a number of well-intentioned plot twists towards the finale.
