Scientists Jessica and Keith are employed by a large company to investigate a horror that took place in the remote camp of a mysterious cult. The two live and work in a high-tech environment and spend their days collecting and analyzing evidence and reporting their findings. When Jessica discovers a mysterious artifact of unknown origin, the scientists' relationship changes: sexual tensions develop and paranoia sets in. What is real and what is not are indistinguishable and their discovery now threatens to endanger their lives.
