"The Story of a Journey around the World"

They want to leave their home to discover what the 'heimat' means to others. The young couple Patrick and Gwen are backpacking east and so on around the world. The goal is to spend no more than five euros a day and try not to fly. They want to experience every kilometer with all their senses and with every step Patrick and Gwen want to remain spontaneous and curious. The two have been traveling for three years and 110 days, on foot or as hitchhikers, by bus, train or ship. At the end of their journey of almost 100,000 kilometers, the three of them travel through Europe, Asia and North and Central America and return.
