Colombia Magia Salvaje plot
Colombia's biodiversity is reflected in this documentary through images of beautiful landscapes and fauna within this beautiful but fragile ecosystem. Enclosed between two oceans and intersected by the Andes Mountains, this South American country is home to a diverse animal and plant life. Mangrove forests, the breeding grounds of the ocean, grow along the tropical coasts. The interior has snow-capped peaks, raging rivers, swamps and tropical rainforest. This film shows the most admirable, spectacular and extreme examples of nature in Colombia. With special images of emerging blue butterflies, hammerhead sharks that gather at the rock island of Malpelo, the mating ritual of the rare orinoco crocodile, the flight of a condor over the glacier of El Cocuy, the unique, colored river Caño Cristales. The documentary also explores the mystery of the Lost City.
