Hahaha what a vinegar pisser say here. I really loved him. Super crass, super dry and exactly how a bad action comedy should be. When I watched the trailer, it quickly became clear that this would be a silly movie. So I wonder what went wrong with all these whiners? Didn't you watch the trailer before turning on this movie? Or are you so retarded that you couldn't tell from the trailer that this movie should be taken with a grain of salt? Anyway; Shame. I found it exactly what I could expect.

Pretty funny, although I didn't laugh as much as scriptwriter/director/producer/leader/jack-of-all-trades Taran Killam presumably hoped. I don't know exactly why, because the mix of mockumentary, black humor and over-the-top violence is fun, the characters are exuberantly drawn and the actors do their best, but maybe it's too predictable when you know that the actor who will play Gunther will certainly not be written out of the film easily. Still a big pass because of the guts, the inspiration, the quite hilarious Arnie (isn't it nice that he tries something different?) and the sequence in which Gunther's car will be blown up for a while - I did laugh out loud.

The first thing that stood out is that Schwarzenegger only appears after an hour. In a role that looks more like an extended cameo. While his name and face are prominent on the poster. He is therefore the name that the people should draw, but you will be a fan of the man and then see this.
The film itself is reminiscent of What we do in the shadows. Killing Gunther resembles a mockumentary about a group of assassins. The concept is not bad and here and there a joke pops up that does work. The end result is a cozy comedy that I quite enjoyed. Even if it doesn't go all the way.
