Dance Academy: The Movie plot
"Big City. Bigger Dreams."
The now discontinued series of the same name followed a group of teenagers during their time at the National Academy of Dance. Tara (Xenia Goodwin) was destined to become one of the best ballet dancers of her generation until she suffered a disastrous injury. This film picks up the story eighteen months after the series. Tara tries to pick up her life again, but continues to dream about a professional ballet career. Eventually it gets too much for her and she leaves friend and family in Sydney to prove to the world that she still has what it takes to make it in the dance world.
