The Forest plot
A new teacher arrives in a small town in rural Thailand. He was a monk and has just said goodbye to monastic life. He now has a job at the local school and embarks on a quest to discover life outside the monastery. He helps a girl who is being bullied in his class. Both the teacher and the girl face the challenges and cruelties of the real world. The girl retreats to a fantasy world, and finds solace in an enchanted forest with a strange mysterious wild boy who lives there.
