Philippe Kohly made an almost two-hour portrait of Jacques Brel, without testimonials, in which he only allows the singer and songwriter himself to speak. It is the portrait of a genius on stage, mysterious and eloquent. A portrait of 49 adventurous years. A portrait also that tries to answer the questions that have contributed to its legend: why did Brel stop singing when he was only 37 years old and successful? Why did he never bring a bis number?
