The Blue Boy plot
Marie is in an unhappy marriage with Joe, who cheats on several occasions. An unfortunate twist of fate, on a trip to the countryside, Joe and Marie end up at the hotel where Joe has his "adventures". There Marie is told the story of a young boy who has drowned nearby and she becomes more and more obsessed with it.
