Les Crimes Silencieux plot
Detective Tess Borski grew up in the northern French mining town of Courrières. There, in 1906, a major mining disaster occurred, in which hundreds of miners were buried alive. Now Tess returns to Courrières to investigate a series of strange crimes with Commissioner François Dubois. As their investigation progresses, Tess and François begin to suspect that their case is related to the 1906 disaster.
