A Better Place plot

"His pain is your punishment."

After the death of his protected mother, Jeremy Rollins is left alone. Because Jeremy has a peculiar condition over which he has no control, he is unwittingly life threatening to anyone who comes in contact with him. Jeremy is hardly familiar with the manners in society. The residents in the town where he lives think he is a scary eccentric. Yet he is forced to enter that hostile world in order to survive. In order to do that, he must learn to control his dangerous powers. A waitress from the local lunchroom helps him with this.

The synopsis aroused my interest, but what a dragon of a film! A very bad script with bad acting and bad dialogues. So bad, bad, bad. Too bad because the idea was quite funny.

The entire film was shot within 15 days. At the 2016 Modcon London Film Festival, the film won an award in the "Best Feature Film" and "Best Director" categories. In addition, he was nominated for "Best Music Score."

The music is about the only plus point. The story idea sounds interesting, but the execution is just downright bad.
