The Donor plot

On his moped, Yang Ba chugs daily from the dingy flat he lives with his wife and son to the dilapidated tire workshop where he tries to scrape together the family income. But a college-age child is expensive, and Yang's finances are further strained by the city's plans to demolish his residential area. That need puts him in touch with Li Daguo, who is looking for a kidney for his critically ill sister.
