Le Bois Dont les Rêves Sont Faits plot
Le Bois de Vincennes, a vast, largely uncultivated forest just outside Paris, is a secret retreat for many Parisians. A guardian spirit and also a modern-day Noah's Ark, or even a lost paradise where people of all stripes flee the dangers and chaos of the city. Migrants, locals, prostitutes and their anonymous clients, stalkers, loners, philosophers, romantics, artists and dreamers come here to seek comfort and themselves. Some of them even live here in nature as outcasts or hermits, believing that they must be one with nature to be truly free, understand the meaning of life and be able to return to their youth, the real home of every person.
