The chubby orange house cat Marnie lives a comfortable life with the Sonnenschein family. One day, Paul, who can't stand his sister's spoiled pet, leaves Marnie at a rural gas station. The cat sets off and is soon joined by a boisterous dog named Elvis, the donkey Anthony who wants to become famous as a zebra, and a neurotic rooster named Eggbert.
