Christmas in Homestead plot
Jessica McEllis is a successful actress who resides in the village of Homestead to shoot a film. Vince Hawkins, her ex-boyfriend and opponent, is also present in the village. To make sure the village is a suitable location for filming, she turns to Matt Larson, the mayor. He is also the owner of the local guest house. Jessica stays there and gets on well with Sophie, Matt's daughter. Jessica discovers that Matt's wife died prematurely and that Matt is raising Sophie alone. A special bond develops between Jessica and Sophie. Much to Vince's chagrin, Matt also likes Jessica.
