"Did you kill my father?"
Hui-Ju's father was murdered when she was seven years old. Her father was a detective working on a serial killer case. The killer Gi-Beom was eventually arrested, but found guilty of only one murder. Fifteen years later, Gi-Beom is released from prison. Detective Dae-Yeong was working on the case with Hui-Ju's father at the time and has not relinquished a conviction for the murder of his former partner. Meanwhile, Hui-Ju patiently awaited Gi-Beom's release.
